Former Tiger Chase Daniel goes to New Orleans

Chase Daniel is on the move.

After getting cut from the Washington Redskins over the weekend, the former Tiger standout quarterback signed on with the New Orleans Saints' practice squad.

Daniel announced via Twitter on Sunday, "It's true...things didn't work out with 'Skins...had a great time, but headed to New Orleans tonight and practice tomorrow morning!"

Daniel signed with Washington after going undrafted in April. He was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and led Missouri to back-to-back Big 12 North titles.

Good for Chase; I knew he would make a good business decision. The 'Skins lost a good one...I predict a sorry circumstance in coach Zorn's future regarding QBs. I never thought I'd cheer for the Saints but at least I will watch them this year and see what happens.
