Tigers crack the AP rankings
Well that didn't take long.
Missouri's absence from the AP rankings was short-lived, as the Tigers find themselves at the No. 25 spot in this week's poll.
The Tiger's definitive 37-9 victory over Illinois on Saturday apparently caught the attention of the voters who didn't have Missouri in the preseason top 25.
Riding the wave of success with Chase Daniel and Co., the Tigers were a fixture in the AP poll the past two seasons. Missouri reached its pinnacle in 2007, when it was ranked No. 1 after beating Kansas in November.
