The Hawkeye offense took over after the fourth down play by the Tigers was overturned. Iowa picked up a big first down on third and short before running the clock down for the win.

Highlighting the stat sheets were Iowa running back Marcus Coker who ran for 219 yards and two touchdowns, Missouri's Gabbert throwing for 434 yards and Missouri's T.J. Moe racking up 152 receiving yards.
