Missouri football assistant coach arrested on suspicion of DWI

Assistant coach Bruce Walker of the Missouri football team was arrested Monday night on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Campus police arrived at the Mizzou Athletic Training Complex at 11:14 p.m. and found Walker behind the wheel of a running car, the Associated Press reported Tuesday

Walker’s attorney, Bogdan Susan, said that he and two other members of the staff were loading coolers into Walker’s truck, and a taxi that had been called for transportation was nearby. The football coaching staff and their wives had just returned from a trip to the Lake of the Ozarks.

Walker has not been charged as of Tuesday afternoon.
