Missouri football ranked No. 25 in coaches poll
The Missouri football team was ranked No. 25 in the USA Today and ESPN Top 25 football coaches poll.
The ranking comes after many ranked teams from last week suffered losses this weekend. Missouri received 82 voting points to just squeak into the Top 25. The Tigers were unranked in week one.
Missouri is now 2-0 after a blowout 50-6 victory over McNeese State last night and a 23-13 win over Illinois in week one. They join 23 other undefeated teams in the Top 25 poll.
At the top of the poll is No. 1 Alabama with Ohio State, Boise State, Texas and TCU rounding out the top five.
At the bottom of the list with the Tigers is No. 22 Michigan followed by Houston, California and then Missouri.
The Tigers will look to move up in the rankings with a win next week over San Diego State. It will be their second of four straight games at home.
