Moe named Community of Champions winner
Missouri junior wide receiver T.J. Moe has been named the 2011 fall Community of Champions winner by the Big 12 Conference.
The award, which was announced Tuesday afternoon by the Big 12, is in conjunction with Chick-fil-A and recognizes one student athlete from each conference member based on excellence in a variety of areas. The criteria include at least a 3.00 grade point average, involvement in community service activity and demonstration of both leadership and sportsmanship both on and off the playing field.
Missouri will receive $4,500 from Chick-fil-A for Moe's award.
