President Barack Obama selected the Kansas Jayhawks to win the 2011 NCAA Tournament, ESPN reported Wednesday. The president also selected Cincinnati over Missouri in the opening game for the Tigers.
This marks the second consecutive year Obama has chosen the Jayhawks to emerge victorious from the field of 64.
The president went with a favorite-heavy bracket, with all four No. 1 seeds appearing in the Final Four. Obama has Kansas beating Ohio State in the championship game.
Missouri will try to prove Obama wrong Thursday night against Cincinnati in Washington D.C. Tipoff is scheduled 8:50 p.m.
