Preview: Missouri vs. Cincinnati
The Missouri Tigers are set to square off against the Cincinnati Bearcats in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Missouri enters as the No. 11 seed, and is making its 24th trip to the Big Dance.
Missouri ended the regular season on a three-game skid, and exited the Big 12 Tournament in the second round with a loss to Texas A&M.
The Tigers are led by junior guard Marcus Denmon, who is averaging a team-high 16.9 points per game this season. Denmon was also a first team All-Big 12 selection.
The Bearcats are an extremely balanced scoring team, with five players averaging over 8 points. Junior forward Yancy Gates leads the way with 11.8 for the team. Cincinnati lost in the second round of the Big East tournament to Notre Dame.
Tipoff is scheduled for 8:50 p.m. in Washington D.C.
