Two former Missouri volleyball players have signed contracts to play professional volleyball with teams in Europe.

Former middle blocker Brittany Brimmage signed with Asko Linz Steg, a team from Linz, Austria, taking part in the Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association.

Brimmage is fresh off of a four-year career with the Tigers. Heading into the 2011 season as an All-Big 12 Conference preseason pick, she finished her senior season with 300 kills and a team-best .352 hitting while pitching in 98 blocks. She was a two-time Cobra Magazine All-National Third Team pick as well as the Blue Raider Bash Tournament MVP in 2011.

Former Missouri libero Caitlyn Vann signed with Zok Split, a team from Split, Croatia.

Vann holds a few records for her defensive performance with the Tigers. She owns the single season records for total digs (637) and digs per set (5.35), both of which were set in the 2010 season. She was an AVCA All-Region honorable mention in her 2010 senior season as well as a nine-time Big 12 defensive player of the week. Six of those nine were in the 2010 season.

Brimmage and Vann join former Missouri All-American Paola Ampudia, who now plays for Scavolini Pessaro in Italy, as the second and third Tigers to sign professional volleyball contracts in Europe.
