Women's golf places second at Claud Jacobs Challenge
The Missouri women’s golf team kicked off the season this past weekend with a second-place finish at the Claud Jacobs Challenge in Victoria, Texas. The team tied for second with Iowa, falling in just behind Texas State, who shot an impressive 904 total over three rounds. The Tigers finished with a cumulative 934 strokes.

Three other Tigers placed for Missouri at the event. Seniors Hannah Lovelock and Marissa Cook finished 22nd and 25th, respectively. Lovelock shot 7-over-par across all three rounds, and Cook holed two birdies to close out her final round in a tie for the 25th spot.
Freshman Alina Rogers finished the event in 23rd place. Sophomore Ariana Savich also placed tied for 68th, competing unattached.
