Former football player Lee arrested for burglary, felony stealing

MU Police arrested former Missouri football player Lawrence Lee yesterday for two counts of burglary in the second degree, as well as felony stealing.

According to MUPD’s Captain Brian Weimer, Lee allegedly stole a Sony laptop from a room in South Hall on either Nov. 10 or 11. Lee also allegedly stole a PlayStation 4, as well as a copy of a Call of Duty game, a copy of NBA 2K14 and a game controller from a room in South Hall on Nov. 13, Weimer said.

Weimer said Lee, a freshman from Pensacola, Florida, also allegedly stole an Apple iPhone 6 from the Missouri Athletic Training Complex on Dec. 2.

Upon his arrest, MU police took Lee to the Boone County Jail, Weimer said. Lee is not currently listed as an inmate in the jail.

Missouri coach Gary Pinkel announced Lee’s dismissal from the Mizzou football program Nov. 24.

Lee caught two passes for seven total yards this season.
