The No.17 Missouri Tigers (11-3) avoided an upset at the Citrus Classic on Saturday, pulling a walk-off win over Illinois State and another over Radford.

After leading 4-0 early on, the Tigers found themselves down 10-5 after the fifth inning. Missouri rattled off six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to walk off against Illinois State, 11-10.

The Tigers were led by a pair of 4-5 performances out of sophomores Taylor Gadbois and Emily Crane. Krane drove in three runs including the winning run while freshman Casey Stangel drove in three of her own.

Stangel picked up her fifth win of the season against ISU, giving up three runs in four innings of relief while fanning two.

The Tigers had more breathing room in their second game against Radford which they won, 7-1. Crane hit her team-leading third home run of the season in the contest which gave the Tigers an early 3-0 lead. The Tigers made easy work of Virginia school with Stangel on the mound who picked up her second win of the day to improve to 6-1 on the season.

The Tigers are back in action on Sunday wrapping up their trip to Florida with an early morning game against Ohio State.
