Newspapers fly off stands across campus
The news is hard to find today. Campus readership bins across campus are bare after last night's elections. And it's not just here.
The New York Times reported that newspapers had sold out from newsstands around New York City.
The Detroit Free Press is printing 50,000 more copies to meet demand for their front page.
According to The Associated Press, the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times both sold out across the city. The newspapers' front pages both featured full-page photos of Obama, who is from Chicago.
Locally, the Columbia Missourian featured a full-page photo of Obama, and the Columbia Daily Tribune also featured a very large photo of the president-elect. The Maneater usually arrives on campus around 2 p.m. (Here's a PDF of our front page).
