Social media Border Showdown

The Maneater and The University Daily Kansan are entering into a social media Border Showdown. From Nov. 1 until the MU/KU game Nov. 26, the two newspapers will be battling for the highest number of followers on Twitter and "likes" on Facebook.

The reward? Simply bragging rights. Here are the current stats:

On Twitter:

For a grand total of 4,653 followers.

@UDK_News | 3,747 followers

@UDK_Opinion | 904 followers

For a grand total of 4,841 followers.

On Facebook:

The Maneater | 1,704 likes

Maneater Sports | 146 likes

For a grand total of 1,850 likes.

The University Daily Kansan | 2,015 likes

UDK Sports | 41 likes

For a grand total of 2,056 likes.
