The UM System Board of Curators announced Monday it would meet Wednesday, Jan. 13 to announce a timeline and logistics for its search for a new system president.
Mike Middleton, former MU deputy chancellor and faculty member, is currently serving as the system’s interim president. Former President Tim Wolfe resigned Nov. 9, 2015 following student protests and graduate student Jonathan Butler’s hunger strike.
Later Nov. 9, MU Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin also resigned. MU has yet to announce information about the search for a new chancellor. Hank Foley, former senior vice chancellor for research and graduate studies, is currently interim chancellor.
