Tigers fall in five to No. 13 Kansas State
A service ace by Kansas State ends this one tonight at the Hearnes Center, as Missouri's upset bid of Kansas State falls short in five sets.
Missouri dug itself into a 4-1 hole to start the set. The Tigers tied the set at 6-6 and 7-7, and finally took its first lead of the set thanks to several mishits by Kansas State. Lei Wang's kill off a mishit put the Tigers up one, and a Amanda Hantouli kill on a mishit on the following point gave the Tigers a two-point lead.
The set remained tied at 10-10 and 12-12 before Kansas State took the lead for good at 13-12.
