Baylor blog: Momentum is temporary
Early in the second set, Missouri is showing the inconsistency that marred it in non-conference play. Every time the Tigers begin to take momentum and go on rallies, one error seems to deflate the Tigers and start snowballing.
For instance, a point by Amanda Hantouli put MU up 6-5 in the second set, only to be followed by a service error by Caitlyn Vann. Baylor followed up Vann's error by rattling off three straight points. MU trails 9-6 at the first timeout of the second set.
