With their backs against the walls, the players of the Missouri volleyball team stepped up in a big way in the third set, extending the match with a 25-23 win in the third set.
In a set that featured 12 ties, sophomores Caitlyn Vann and Jules Klein came up huge toward the end of the set. A rare dig-kill by Vann on an immensely athletic play diving to her right reenergized the Tigers and their fans with Missouri trailing 20-19. From there, Klein and Missouri's big hitters carried Missouri with strong play at the net to keep the Tigers alive.
