Joan Brock: More Than Meets the Eye

    MU students must pick up tickets at the MSA/GPC Box Office. Joan Brock was forced to re-evaluate and transform her life when she lost her sight in just three weeks. At the time, ironically, she was a teacher of the blind, at the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School. Using her experiences as inspiration, Joan's presentation will help you to see the beautiful, funny and remarkable adventures that happen in our lives every day. And, her presentation will give you the tools to experience life through all of your senses. Sponsored by the Department of Student Life, Delta Gamma sorority and MU Disability Services.
