Slideshow: MU athletes encourage character building among Columbia youth
The event, which is a joint effort between the athletics department and a community organization, The Intersection, gave the children a chance to play with and learn from various student-athletes representing the football, men’s and women’s basketball, soccer and track teams.

The Love Your Body Committee worked with the Women’s Center, Kappa Delta and other organizations to make Love Your Body Day, held at Lowry Mall, possible. Each organization had a booth set up to help spread information and awareness to help those who have a negative body image.

Students and spectators were encouraged to ask questions of SASHA members dressed as "Jesus" and his disciples Wednesday afternoon. Brother Jed and his wife, Sister Cindy, also made appearances to voice their opinions.

Podcast: Word on the Street: Facebook controversy sparks petition in the U.K.
A Facebook page based on rape-jokes has sparked a petition in the United Kingdom where efforts are working towards having the page removed. Students feel as though there are other parties that should be held accountable as well.
