Speaking to MU Bookstore representatives, Angela Pagan, president of MU's United Students Against Sweatshops chapter, proposes the chapter's idea to spend $300,000 on Alta Gracia clothing. The bookstore agreed to buy about $50,000 worth of clothing from the brand, which is set to hit the shelves in July 2012.

Washington state election officials have approved new marijuana reform laws to go on November's ballot. If passed, all criminal penalties will be removed for adults over the age of 21 possessing no more than one ounce of marijuana.
