William Behrens, 20, of 101 E. Burnam, on suspicion of possession of false identification, driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving: Behrens was stopped after hitting a tree at the corner of Rollins Street and Richmond Avenue

Police are investigating the theft of a 1996 white Acura from South Providence Road near Providence Point between 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Acura has a spoiler and black front and rear bumpers.
