Thursday, Oct.19

Police are investigating two threatening phone calls made to a cell phone while the owner of the cell phone was in the Chemistry Building. The calls were made back to back from a private number at approximately 11:45 a.m.

Police are investigating the theft of a black toolbox, Palm Pilot and Olympus Digital Camera. The items were stolen from a 1990 Jeep Cherokee parked on the top level of Virginia Avenue Garage. The items were valued at a total of $330.

Police are investigating a case of fraud that occurred between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The owner of a credit card/bankcard used it last at an ATM in Brady Commons. After he or she realized it was missing and called to cancel the card, it was discovered that one charge had been made for $100.

Police are investigating the theft of a silver contractors' hammer, valued at $30, and $1 in coins from a 1994 Ford Explorer parked in university lot CG-1. The items were stolen between 12:30 a.m. and 5:49 p.m. The vehicle's passenger side rear window was also broken.

Friday, Oct.20

Sean M. Diller, 21, of 1111 Hamilton Way, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane

Jacob C. Viers, 18, of Gillett Hall, on suspicion of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana

Police are investigating the theft of a wallet stolen from the Hitt Street Visitor's lot in front of Brady Commons. The black MU wallet contained a driver's license, student identification card, debit card, All Sports Pass, two $5 QuikTrip gift cards and approximately $70 in cash and was stolen between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Police are investigating vandalism on the north side of the Agriculture Building. The north-facing door was found after 9 p.m. with graffiti on it. The suspect was described as wearing a gray shirt and jeans.

Police are investigating an explosion that occurred in a bathroom stall in Laws Hall at 8:45 p.m. The explosion caused more than $1,000 in damage.

Saturday, Oct.21

Jonathan G. Sieker, 19, of 1031 N. Cooper Drive, on suspicion of possession of alcohol by minor

Police are investigating vandalism in Peace Park. A small tree and a Silver Linden tree were chopped down between 5 p.m. Oct. 20 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 21.

Police are investigating the theft of Kenwood stereo, a white iPod, a GPS tracking system, two pairs of Oakley sunglasses and two sets of throwing darts. The items were stolen from a Jeep parked on level five of Turner Avenue parking garage. The items were valued at $1,580.

Police are investigating counterfeiting that occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. A counterfeit $10 bill was taken at a concession stand during the football game.

Sunday, Oct.22

Carlye P. Merryfield, 19, of Jones Hall, on suspicion of possession of false identification

Michelle C Goldstein, 19, of Jones Hall on suspicion of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and false identification

Ryan K. Tellor, 19, of Hudson Hall, on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor

Robert J. New, 18, of Excellence Hall, on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor

Ryan L. Cox, 29, of  Independence, on suspicion of theft

Police are investigating vandalism that occurred in Gillett Hall. An emergency exit sign was knocked down between 12:50 a.m. and 1 a.m.

Police are investigating tampering in which a fire extinguisher was set off and a fire alarm was pulled on the third floor of Excellence Hall between 3:40 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Police are investigating the theft of a red purse from a vehicle parked on the fourth level of Maryland Avenue Garage. The purse contained a driver's license, state identification card, health care card, gas card, $15 in cash and a bottle of Tylenol worth approximately $10.

Police are investigating the theft of a white Photo Mac iPod, valued at $200, and a radio transmitter from a 2004 Jeep Wrangler parked on the top level of Hitt Street Parking Garage. The items were taken between 1 p.m. Oct. 20 and 12:19 p.m. Oct. 22.
