Police are investigating the theft of a blue Hoover steam cleaner between noon Oct. 11 and 10 a.m. Oct. 21. The steam cleaner was stolen from a closet on the eighth floor of Clark Hall. The item was valued at a total of $279.

Police are investigating fraud, which occurred between 8 a.m. Oct. 21 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 24. Two phone calls were made to the Walgreen's at 222 E. Broadway attempting to call in prescriptions impersonating a University Hospital employee. No arrests have been made at this time.

Police are investigating the theft of a purple Trek mountain bike from a bike rack outside of North Hall between noon Oct. 22 and 10:30 a.m. Oct. 23. The bike was valued at $200.

Police are investigating the theft of a metal barbecue pit taken from the Northeast side of South Hall between 5 p.m. Oct. 23 and 8 a.m. Oct 24. The barbecue was valued at $200.

Police are investigating the theft of an antenna stolen from a vehicle parked at 1026 Ashland Road between 9:30 a.m. Oct. 23 and noon Oct. 24.

Police are investigating the theft of a pink Motorola RAZR cell phone from 1300 Rollins St. between 9:45 p.m. and 10 p.m. The phone was valued at $250.

Police are investigating vandalism that occurred to a traffic sign at 1000 Elm St. The sign was broken off near the base between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Karl O. Barjenbruch, 23, of 805 N. West Blvd., on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and operating a vehicle in a careless fashion

Lindsay S. Manigold, 19, of 511 E. Rollins St., on suspicion of using a fraudulent disabled windshield placard

Police are investigating the theft of an Arcadia bike that was left leaning against a fence outside of 1000 Rollins St. The bike was described as having satchels on both sides and having black and yellow tape around the handlebars. It was stolen between 4:05 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. It was valued at $700.

Police are investigating vandalism that occurred in the Hitt Street Visitors' Lot between 11:13 a.m. and 11:16 a.m. A 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck had a scratch running the length of the driver's side door.

Michael P. Lewis, 21, of 101 Burnam Ave., on suspicion of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

Myles L. Branch, 18, of 101 Burnam Ave., on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, possession of false identification and failure to obey a police officer

Police are investigating the theft of $330 in cash; two Dell laptops, valued at $1,500 each; an iPod; and a Logistic wireless mouse, valued at $50 from a room in Discovery Hall. The items were stolen between 8 p.m. Oct. 28 and 1:30 a.m. Oct. 29. The worth of the iPod is unknown.
