Monday, Oct. 29

Police are investigating an incident of property damage at Defoe Hall between midnight on Oct. 26 and 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 29. A landscape gardener reported a Blue Spruce tree on the northwest corner of the building was damaged. The tree was partially removed and uprooted. The tree was approximately four feet tall.

Police are investigating the theft of a cell phone from the Brady Food Court between 1:20 and 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 29. The black Apple iPhone was left on a table while the individual went to get food and is valued at $400.

Police are investigating the theft of a silver Samsung cell phone from University Physicians Medical Building between 2 and 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 29. The phone is valued at $149.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

Police are investigating the ransacking of a room in Gillett Hall between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Oct 30. The room was left unlocked, and several items were stolen. Stolen items included $80 in cash, a black Apple iPod, a black Microsoft Zune digital media player, DVDs and two prescriptions of 30 pills each.

Wednesday, Oct. 31

Police are investigating a call of sexual harassment at Stafford Hall. The call was made between 12:50 and 1 p.m. on Oct. 31. The subject is described as a male in his late 20s or early 30s and approximately 6 feet 2 inches with wavy light brown hair just above his shoulders.

Police are investigating the theft of hunting gear from the back of a vehicle in the Virginia Avenue parking garage between 1 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 31. The weather stripping between the truck's tailgate and cap was torn, and scratches were visible on the tailgate. More than $4,000 in hunting gear was stolen from the two individuals. Among the stolen items were Scent-Lok insulated camouflage bibs valued at $180, a Scent-Lok insulated camouflage parka valued at $170, two pairs of insulated hunting boots valued at $170 each and a pair of Leupold 10X50 binoculars valued at $450. Also stolen were two bows, a 2007 Matthews Switchback bow a 2007 Ross Archery Cardiac bow. Both bows were valued at $650 each.
