Monday, April 23
Police are investigating the theft of a sign from the Agriculture Building between 6 p.m. April 20 and 3 p.m. April 21. The sign was taken from the National Center for Soybean Biotechnology.
Police are investigating the vandalism of a tree in the North Hall courtyard between 7 a.m. April 22 and 9 a.m. April 23. The uprooted crab apple tree is valued at $225.
Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle from a Middlebush Hall bicycle rack between 2 p.m. April 20 and 1 p.m. April 22. The custom-made, orange Raleigh Retro bicycle had an attached basket and a bell.
Police are investigating a report of a sex offense near 500 Turner Ave. at approximately 4:15 p.m. An anonymous victim reported a man driving erratically and yelling sexual obscenities. The victim reported the man was driving a late 1980s model blue Oldsmobile.
Tueday, April 24
Police are investigating the vandalism of a vehicle parked in the Virginia Avenue parking garage between 10:50 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The top of the vehicle was damaged with a hand or an object, and the hood of the vehicle appeared to have been damaged when someone stepped on it.
Police are investigating the theft of a license plate from the Hitt Street parking garage between 6:30 p.m. April 22 and 2:30 p.m. April 24. The rear license plate was taken from a 2001 Ford Mustang.
Police are investigating the theft of a laptop computer from Ellis Library between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. The Toshiba computer is valued at $1,299.
Police are investigating the theft of several items from a locker at the Plaza 900 dining hall. An employee reported their Missouri state identification card, employee identification card and keys had been taken from the locker.
Joel A. Kanne, 23, of 605 S. Fifth St., on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Wednesday, April 25
Police are investigating the theft of a calculator from Columbia Regional Hospital between 1:50 a.m. and 2:53 p.m. The bright orange calculator was taken from a break room and is valued at $20.
