Police are investigating the vandalism of a vehicle parked in the AV-14 parking lot between 4 p.m. March 15 and 8 a.m. March 19. The university-owned vehicle's front windshield was cracked.

Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle from outside Center Hall between 4:30 p.m. March 17 and 6 p.m. March 19. The gray Kona Blast bicycle is valued at $400.

Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle from outside the Anheuser-Busch Natural Resources Building between 7 p.m. March 15 and 7 p.m. March 18. The gray Panasonic bicycle had orange tires and is valued at $500.

Police are investigating the theft of a Pioneer stereo system, an Apple iPod mini, a vehicle cord for the iPod, a Garmin GPS system and a Cobra radar detector from a blue Jeep Cherokee parked in the Hitt Street parking garage. The items are valued at approximately $1,049.

Anthony L. Johnson, 22, of 1906 Myrtle, on suspicion of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license

Thomas L. Pitts, 21, of Moundville, Mo., on suspicion of theft, first-degree trespassing, third-degree assault and resisting arrest

Thursday, March 22

Police are investigating an alarm that sounded in Engineering Building West at approximately 1:30 a.m. Police collected fingerprints from the pulled fire alarm switch.

Police are investigating the vandalism of several vehicles parked in the SG-4 parking lot outside of Hearnes Center at approximately 2:20 a.m. A witness reported a group of three to four individuals were damaging vehicles in the lot. Four vehicles have been reported damaged, and items were stolen from two cars.

Police are investigating the vandalism of a vehicle parked in the Conley Avenue parking garage and the theft of a small fire extinguisher from the vehicle at approximately 5:21 a.m. The passenger side rear window was broken. The extinguisher is valued at $50.

Police are investigating the theft of a white Apple laptop computer from the Sheldon Academic Resources Center between 8:30 p.m. March 21 and 8:30 a.m. March 22. The computer is valued at $1,200.

Police are investigating the theft of $150 from the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center between 8:30 a.m. and noon. The money was taken from a wallet in a purse.

Friday, March 23

Police are investigating the theft of a Nokia flip-style cell phone from University Hospital between 9:40 a.m. March 9 and 12:40 a.m. March 12. The phone was taken from a black bag left in a waiting room.

Police are investigating the theft of a clutch purse and its contents from 701 S. Fifth St. between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. The purse contained $200 in cash, two MasterCard credit cards, a driver's license, a Social Security card and a medical insurance card.

Monday, March 16

Police are investigating the vandalism of a window in the General Classroom Building between 5 p.m. March 23 and 7 a.m. March 26. The window has since been repaired.

Police are investigating the theft of two umbrellas and their bases from storage in the General Services Building between Nov. 1 and March 26. The umbrellas are valued at $250 each.

Police are investigating the vandalism of a window in the Hitt Street parking garage that was reported at 6:13 p.m. The window was located in the second level of a stairwell. Repair costs are estimated to be between $100 and $150.

Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle from Gillett Hall between Nov. 1 and Nov. 19. The red bicycle is valued at $65.

Miles G. Watson, 19, of 4000 Arctic Fox, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of false identification and failure to maintain a single lane

Saturday, March 31

Police are investigating the theft of a watch from a vehicle parked at the intersection of S. Sixth St. and E. Stewart Road between 2 and 2:30 p.m. The TAG Heuer watch, taken from a black Ford Escort, had a white mother of pearl dial, a two-tone wristband and was studded with diamonds.
