Monday, SEPT. 10
Police are investigating the theft of a fire extinguisher from the Hearnes Center between 6 p.m. on Sept. 7 and 2 p.m. on Sept. 10. The extinguisher is valued at $60. Also damaged were a gymnastics balance beam, a large foam mat and a smaller foam floor mat. Damages were estimated at $600 for the balance beam, $1,000 for the large mat and $500 for the floor mat.
Police are investigating damage to a car at Maryland Avenue parking garage between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. The front passenger-side fender was damaged and did not appear consistent with damage from another vehicle. There were no witnesses present.
Police are investigating damage to a car at the AV-14 parking lot. The car was keyed on both sides. The cost has not yet been determined.
Police are investigating the theft of a 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro, 30-GB iPod and a pair of Sony headphones from Ellis Library between 10:40 and 10:55 p.m. The MacBook is valued at $2,400, the iPod at $400 and the headphones at $40.
Tuesday, SEPT. 11
Police are investigating a disturbance at 9:14 a.m. A male and female were yelling. There was no physical violence.

Lela Hall, 29, of 1108 Hamilton Way, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane
