Three arrested in drug bust

The Columbia Police Department SWAT team conducted a search Friday on a warrant at a home in south Columbia and discovered drug paraphernalia, firearms and stolen property.
The search was executed at 553 Chris Drive at about 10:05 p.m., CPD Sgt. Brian Richenberger said in a news release.
Police arrested Jason M. Kroner, 30, Katherine A. Casey, 30, and Russell E. Erqhart, 37.
Police seized numerous pharmaceuticals, drug paraphernalia, property believed stolen and five firearms, including three handguns, one rifle and one shotgun. An additional $750 was also taken from the residence.
All three suspects are convicted of possession and intent to distribute a controlled substance. Kroner and Casey are being charged with a felony on suspicion of receiving stolen property. Kroner is also being charged with a felony on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
The investigation is ongoing, the release stated.
