Nebraska knocked MU out of the Big 12 tournament Thursday night, but tons of basketball action continued throughout the weekend at the brand-new Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.
After a relatively predictable first three rounds with only Oklahoma State, Colorado and Texas A&M pulling off upsets, first-seed Texas and second-seed Kansas will meet in Saturday's championship game in the match-up most predicted and hoped for from the start.
The two teams have played in the final round each of the past two years, with the Jayhawks winning both. Texas has won two Big 12 men's basketball titles, while Kansas has a record eight championships.
