Early voters asked to re-cast Senate ballots
March 18, 2008
Students who receive an error message when they log in to vote for the Missouri Students Association Senate elections can cast a paper ballot Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Brady Commons.
In addition, students who voted Monday evening using the first online ballot, which required voters to hold down a control key while selecting candidates, should vote again, said Board of Elections Commissioners Vice Chairman Ian Krause. The first ballot did not include instructions, and a second ballot with boxes to check for each candidate went online at about 9:15 p.m.
Krause said the BEC is trying to contact students who voted before the ballot was revised to tell them to vote again.
The online ballot is available at http://www.vote.missouri.edu.
Online voting began at 6 p.m. Monday and will conclude at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
