Three wrestlers named All-Americans at NCAA Championship

Three MU wrestlers earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship this weekend at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
Junior Raymond Jordan and sophomores Nick Marable and Max Askren won the titles, a career first for each. The three were also the highest-placing Tigers in the contests this weekend. Marable placed third in the 165-lb. bracket after finishing with an overall 5-1 score in the tournament. Jordan won fifth place in the 184-lb. bracket, and Askren finished seventh in the 197-lb. bracket.
The Tigers ended the 2008 season by placing 12th overall in the tournament.
