The Tigers success didn’t continue into Saturday, when San Diego bested the Tigers 5-4. Junior Rick Zagone gave up four earned runs on three hits and three walks, while striking out two over five innings pitched.

MU finished the tournament on Sunday with a win over California Polytechnic, 6-3. MU pulled ahead early in the third inning plating three runs off singles from Senne, Priday, and junior Austin Holt. Priday was 2-for-5 on the day with a homerun, extending his hitting streak to seven games. Sophomore Kyle Gibson started the game, giving up two runs earning his second win of the season.
