Ending Friday's parade at Stephens College, Mucca Pazza bandleader Mark Messing promises a show later at Tonic. Mucca Pazza brought up the rear during the March into March parade, which opened the fifth annual True/False Film Fest.
Boxcutter Cabaret Puppet Tour members Lindsey McCaw, David Bailey and Rose Friedman entertain the crowd through music and storytelling Friday night at the Cherry Street Artisan. Throughout the True/False Film Fest, the Artisan hosted numerous acts whose performers came from around the nation.
With judges and directors Esther Robinson, David Schisgall and Sean Donnelly, host Jonathan Gotsick takes a break during the filming of the pilot episode of the game show 'Gimme Truth.' 'Gimme Truth' challenges amateur filmmakers to film two-minute documentaries about actual people or made up characters.
The True/False Film Fest is Columbia's annual celebration of documentary filmmaking, bringing together artists from all over the world to exhibit their work not just in film, but a number of other artistic mediums, including the visual, culinary, and musical arts. The weekend also included concerts, parties and receptions for the artists and guests. Check out Will Lounsbury's photos of a dynamic weekend.
