Student assaulted on Stankowski
The incident occurred early Sunday morning.

The MU Police Department released an e-mail Clery Release on Sunday regarding a robbery that occurred at 3 a.m. April 20 on the Stankowski Field running track.
The male victim reported to the police that three males assaulted him while he ran around the track. He was hit on the right side of his face when he was assaulted from behind, according to the release.
He reported his iPod, cell phone, cash from his wallet and pocketknife were taken during the assault.
The robbery is still under investigation.
According to the Missouri Revised Statutes, third-degree assault is when the person or persons attempt to cause or recklessly cause physical injury to another person.
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal law requiring colleges and universities to release information about crime occurring on and around their respective campus.
In the 2006 MU Campus Safety and Crime Report, there were 2 cases of robbery and 10 cases of aggravated sexual assault reported on campus.
