The following investigations are in progress, and the following people were arrested or issued summons, according to police reports.
Tuesday, April 22 Police are investigating the theft of a quart-sized jar filled with currency and coins from the 400 block of N. Keen St. between 11 a.m. April 15 and 8:30 a.m. April 22. The jar is valued at approximately $19. Police are investigating the theft of a cream-colored silk and cashmere shawl and an orange- and white-checkered cosmetic case from a mailbox at the 900 block of E. Campus Drive between 10 a.m. April 21 and 7 a.m. April 22. The shawl is valued at $200 and the case at $50. Wednesday, April 23 Police are investigating the theft of a backpack, a LG CU 400 cell phone and a 2GB iPod Nano. The phone is valued at $100, and the iPod is valued at $125. Tylor A. Hackmann, 21, of 2405 Santa Rosa Court, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
