Senior Bryant Kagay is from Maysville and is a mechanical engineering major. He got involved with his fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho, through a former Homecoming king from his hometown.
"Most of the guys are from small towns and have agricultural backgrounds," Kagay said.
He said he decided to get involved because it would get him involved on campus, help build a network of friends and keep his grades up.
"Looking back, I couldn't be happier with my decision to join," he said.
His favorite part of Homecoming is the game itself.
"It's easy to get caught up in all of the other events in Homecoming, but the main event is the game," Kagay said.
He described being involved in Homecoming as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
"I get to be involved in nearly every Homecoming activity, and I get to meet a ton of people, including nine of the most impressive students at Mizzou," he said.
Kagay is also a member of the Alumni Association Student Board, Mortar Boards, Mizzou Engineering Student Council and Tau Beta Pi.
After graduation, he plans to stay at MU to pursue his MBA.
