Relay for Life fights cancer for 8th year at MU

Alyssa and Denise Swanson sit by their luminaries Saturday night at the Relay for Life Luminary Ceremony at Stankowski Field. The Swansons purchased four luminaries, which benefit efforts to find a cure for cancer and honor friends and relatives who had died from cancer.

Freshman Nick Berry plays Kool-Aid pong at Stankowski Field during Relay for Life. Students camped at the field from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday and were entertained with games, an inflatable obstacle course, a performance from Comedy Wars and more.
