'Salad Daze' showcases students' hard work
Jason Goldstein, Randy Prywitch make up Be The Shoe Productions.

The boys of Be The Shoe Productions have truly shown what hard work and dedication can accomplish. MU junior Jason Goldstein and sophomore Randy Prywitch have been hard at work this year with their latest feature-length premiere, "Salad Daze." This dark comedy, a coming-of-age story, has been playing all over Columbia, receiving attention from press and students alike.
These gentlemen are no strangers to the film world. Be The Shoe released another feature-length film, "American Gothic," only a couple years ago. Not only do they work fast, but they also aren't afraid to put in a lot of effort to produce professional-looking and high-quality films.
The duo has grown immensely in recent years, both as filmmakers and writers. Prywitch summed it up best in an interview earlier this year.
"We're not amateurs anymore," Prywitch said. "We want to show this off."
We're glad these talented filmmakers and entrepreneurs are so willing to share their work with us. Their work ethic is nothing short of inspiring.
