The results of the survey might not recommend a bridge be built.

The Missouri Students Association began speaking with Vice Chancellor Jackie Jones today about the possibility of having a bridge cross College Avenue between Rollins Street and University Avenue.
Jones' office completed a study of the walking traffic in the area about a week after school started so people could fall into patterns of travel and is waiting for the results to make a recommendation on what should be installed in the area to ease the flow of walking traffic.
"We don't know what their recommendation will look like, whether they will propose a crosswalk with a light, an island or a concrete barrier," MSA President Jordan Paul said.
The bridge is not necessarily the most obvious choice to relieve walking traffic in the area, Paul said.
"For instance, with the College Avenue bridge, it was very specific," Paul said. "It was a very obvious choice. It was exactly where students were crossing. There is some concern that we will not have that luxury with this or we will not have a clear place to build the bridge."
