BEC announces three slates in MSA election and one public debate

The debate will be at 4 p.m. on Feb. 18 in Bengal Lair.

The Board of Elections Commissioners announced three slates running in the Missouri Students Association Special presidential election:

MSA presidential candidate Andrew Hutchinson and vice presidential candidate Lydia Ghuman

MSA presidential candidate Sam Turner and vice presidential candidate Clay Evans

MSA presidential candidate Sean Earl and vice presidential candidate Tori Schafer

The slates are pending confirmation from the Registrar Office that they all meet the 2.5 GPA requirement.

The Maneater and the BEC will co-host one public debate during the election season.

The debate will be at 4 p.m. on Feb. 18 in Bengal Lair, Memorial Union.

The Maneater and BEC will accept questions you would like us to ask before the debate until Feb. 18 at 11 a.m.

Students will still be allowed to tweet questions during the debate.
