Free Christmas dinner offered to students

A free Christmas dinner will be offered by the First Presbyterian Church Campus Ministry at 6 p.m. This is the third year such a banquet will be held.

Ministry Director David Weamer said the dinner has a dual purpose. First, the dinner is a gift in the form of a home-cooked meal in a family environment. Second, the church wants to reach out to students.

The dinner will be held in the newly remodeled Fellowship Hall, which is on the top floor of the Campus Ministry Center, above the Chez Coffee House at Hitt and Cherry streets.

Late reservations are still being accepted. Those interested can call 443-3750.
