MU students talked with staff photographer Julia Hansen regarding the following question: “What are your thoughts on the upcoming election?” Here is what they had to say.
“I dislike Donald Trump very much and he shouldn’t be our president under any circumstance. He has a lack of experience and temperament and a general unfitness to hold that high of an office.” -Aaron Dryden.
“Basically, it just seems that Donald Trump has been on a downward spiral and I would be disappointed if he was elected because it seems that in the past decade or two the country has made social strides and the election of Donald Trump would be quite a few steps backward.” -Andrew Hopkins.
“I’m hoping that a third party candidate will come forward and if not I’m hoping that someone will come forward that can do a good job of bringing more people together.” -Caroline Schulz.
“I’m hoping that things will calm down once this is over and maybe some people can rekindle some friendships they had before.” -Chloe Lozano.
