Twitter users respond to the MSA debate

The debate, which was held by The Maneater and Four Front, was from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 23 in Ellis Auditorium.
Missouri Students Association presidential and vice presidential candidates participating in the first MSA debate, which was hosted by The Maneater and Four Front Oct. 23. The topic of this debate was social justice.

The first Missouri Students Association presidential debate ended around 6 p.m. on Oct. 23. The three slates, Gomez//Hanner, Ejaz//Parrie and McFarland//Segers, took questions both from a panel of moderators and from the audience.

This debate was hosted and moderated by The Maneater’s Student Organizations editor, Waverly Colville, and Four Front Minority Student Council co-chairs, Alana Diggs and Ipsa Chaudhary. The topic of this debate was social justice issues. Audience members took to Twitter with the hashtag #MSAdebate, with their thoughts and questions for the candidates.
