Crawford was reported missing Saturday night.

Missing MU medical student Lauren G. Crawford, 23, was found alive in Columbia on Sunday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

She was dropped off at University Hospital on Sunday morning at 1:30 a.m. with non-critical injuries, a family member said.

Crawford was reported missing by the Missouri State Highway Patrol late Saturday night.

The Caldwell County Sheriffs Office issued an Endangered Person Advisory for Crawford.

Crawford was last seen leaving her home at 11 a.m. June 15 to walk her dog. The dog was later found without Crawford at 5:41 p.m., according to the Highway Patrol's news release.

A possible suspect in the disappearance is Crawford's ex-boyfriend Brian James Adkison, 23, whom Crawford had an order of protection against, according to the news release.

Adkison was also charged with sexual assault and forcible rape in May.

The news release described Adkison as white male with brown hair, brown eyes, fair complexion and a scar on his thigh.
