Tigers win 73–49 against Missouri State Bears at Mizzou Arena on Dec. 2
Missouri women’s basketball beat Missouri State 73-49 at home. This was Mizzou’s eighth game of the season. The win moved up the team’s record to 6–2. Sophomore guard Sophie Cunningham, 3, led the Tigers with 22 individual points. The Tigers’ held a lead throughout the game, pulling away in the second quarter and ultimately finishing the game by more than a 20-point margin.

Senior Lianna Doty, 1, dribbles under pressure. Doty had six rebounds and no points against Missouri State.

Junior forward Kayla McDowell, 20, looks to pass the ball to a teammate. McDowell played seven minutes and attempted two shots, but was unsuccessful on both.
